  • They always had an option. I entered the workforce actually before I was out of high school. I didn't go to college until years later, and paid for the classes myself up front, when I could afford to take them.

  • I was getting the 3200 error, and the "Unable to restore" bit. I booted my iphone in DFU mode, itunes asked if I wanted to restore and upgrade, and the rest went without a hitch.

  • If we're going to be safe, we should ban all drivers over the age of 60. Sure.... except now that Social Security is going the way of the dodo, that means I will have to work until I am 72. Am I supposed to go 12 years walking to work?

  • CB Radio is AM, and at the legal limit of 5 watts only good for 5-10 miles of talk range. I have literally talked around the world on my HAM radio, legally. It's FM, and I can transmit up to 1500 watts.

  • Ham radio on their back? My hand-held HAM radio is slightly larger than a cell phone. If all other communications were to fail in the world, HAM radio operators could STILL get the job done. Off the grid, off the moon if necessary! 73! KC0KRB
